Why Volunteer with Labor for Shoalhaven?

At Labor for Shoalhaven, our strength comes from the grassroots—dedicated members and supporters who are passionate about making a real impact in our community. We believe that by working together, we can create lasting positive change in Shoalhaven.

Whether it’s having meaningful conversations with locals, lending a hand with campaign logistics, or showing up on election day, every bit of help counts. No matter your skill level, there’s a place for you on our team!

Here’s How You Can Help:

  • Join Your Local Branch: Connect with fellow supporters and work together on campaign activities in your area.

  • Display a Poster: Do you have a good location for a poster? Let’s get the word out together!

  • Doorknocking: Help us engage directly with the community by knocking on doors and having important conversations about our campaign.

  • Phone Banking: Reach out to voters over the phone to share our vision and encourage support.

  • Hand Out How-To-Vote Cards: Be part of the team that greets voters with a smile at polling places, providing them with the information they need.

  • Pre-Poll Booths: Help us at pre-polling locations by handing out how-to-vote cards and answering any questions voters may have.

  • Erect/Remove Posters: Assist with the setup and removal of campaign posters across the Shoalhaven area.

  • Scrutineering: Ensure the integrity of the vote count by volunteering as a scrutineer on election day.

  • Stalls and Events: Help us engage with the community by volunteering at campaign stalls and events.

  • Letterboxing: Distribute campaign materials in your local area to keep voters informed.

Volunteering with us is also a great way to learn new skills and meet like-minded people in your community. No experience is needed, and training will be provided.

Thank you for your support—welcome to the team!
